Lucknow Super Giants vs Delhi Capitals Match Scorecard
Lucknow Super Giants have won the important moments in the past few games. They have a steady opening pair now with Aiden Markram and Mitchell Marsh and with Nicholas Pooran following them, that makes the top three very strong. Rishabh Pant has been terribly out of form and it has become a big concern for the team but Ayush Badoni and Abdul Samad stepping up has helped LSG perform well with the bat. Mayank Yadav is yet to play for them but Digvesh Rathi is having a good season and with Avesh Khan nailing his yorkers alongside Shardul Thakur, LSG are competitive. Nicholas Pooran Wins Wisden Trophy 2024 for Outstanding Individual T20 Performance of the Year.
Delhi Capitals have dropped off a bit in the last three games after starting strong. They should have lost the Rajasthan Royals game in the middle if not for the death bowling of Mitchell Starc and that would have meant three loses in a row. Vipraj Nigam has not been effective the same way he was in the first few games. Axar Patel has been under confident with his bowling which has put a lot of pressure on Mitchell Starc, Mohit Sharma and Kuldeep Yadav. DC might have to look for a window to play T Natarajan to look for some wickets. Faf du Plessis has practiced and is likely to be available which could provide them some stability at top.
